In French, it sounds nice. But otherwise, it sounds a bit snooty.

I like it. It's a good alternative for Melody. The only drawback is that she'd probably have a lot of people mishearing her name as Melody, especially if it's pronounced "ELL-o-dee." I think the French pronunciation isn't practical for use where I live in the US.

There are a few different pronunciations of this name floating around in my head. eh-LO-dee, EL-oh-dee, and the proper French pronunciation ay-lo-DEE. The French pronunciation is too...French-sounding for it to be practical in a mostly English-speaking community I think, but it does sound nice. For that reason, EL-oh-dee is my preferred pronunciation.

I don't know. It's a pretty name, but a little on the cutesy side. I like it but I don't love it.

It sounds very musical to me. Thus, I love it.

I think it looks she sounds beautiful, soft and feminine but not frilly and princessy. I think it is much nicer than Melody, even though they're so similar!

I don't mind it, though it's not a fave of mine personally.

I dislike the English pronunciation (Melody w/o the M), but otherwise I think it's lovely.
