How many Megans are ancestrally Welsh? I don't think that's a requirement at all, in fact all the Margots I've known have been totally non-French. Use it if you like it!
I like Margot Erica and Margot Lake; Margot Catherine does seem to expect them both to have the French pronunciation, but it hardly matters.
