Would you rather have been just Star?
I knew a girl named Star (I've written about her before).She was a very unromantic girl, lived on a farm, could milk cows and ride horses.Very capable.
Her mother was kind of a romantic type, though, I suppose that's where her somewhat fanciful name came from.

I'm called Star as a nn sometimes by some people but I guess I'm glad to be Starla and not just plain Star. Star by itself has a very low-rent vibe to it.
