Cute, though not a name I'd use. My favourite season name has got to be Autumn.

I really like the name Summer, it's such a happy, friendly name. I also think it ages quite well.

Too hippy

I like it! The season is great imo too :)

It's not bad, but I prefer the more unusual Winter and Spring to Summer and Autumn.

I like it. It's been on my list since I began making lists, joined by Winter not long after. I don't think it's ever made my top ten (although I forget) but I like the sound of it and it's connotations. It's a difficult name to pair as a first or middle in my opinion though.

I don't think it's too hard to pair. I've been playing with Meredith Summer and Summer Isobel ;)

Honestly? I haven't met someone with the name in a long time. The ones I have known were the snobbish type with rich parents who pretended they were perfect innocents but smoked weed and underage drank while their parents didn't give a crap about where they were or what they were doing. So, it isn't my ideal name.

It's pretty. It's the bimbo of the season names, but I still like it.

Bimbo? Summer? Hm. I have a different impression. I think Spring is the bimbo. Winter is the bitch. Autumn is the snob. Summer is the girl next door.

It's my mom's name! She hates it, but I think it's lovely! :^)

No way! A Summer mom! That's rad. What's her middle name, if you don't mind sharing?

She doesn't have a middle name-- her maiden name was very nature-y, and her parents felt that a middle name would spoil the effect :^P

I love it. I'd use it.

It's sort of neo-hippy-ish, like Skye or Sienna or even Meadow, but dated. I like it! I mean, I like seeing the name on people. It isn't a name I would be very likely to give to a baby daughter, because of my perception that it's a somewhat finished fad - but I wouldn't mind much if I had to because it's a nice name.
