The impression I get from Ruby is heavy and robust, while by contrast, Lily seems light and sweet.
Ruby also makes me think of jewelry, grapefruit, the 1930s, and the color red.
Lily makes me think of gardens, church, the 1990s, and the colors white, orange, and green.
