Lily isn't bad, but Emily is a much stronger name.
Emily Hodges also sounds better than Lily Hodges.
Personally, I'd much rather be an Emily than a Lily. Lily is one of the weakest names I know.
What do you guys think of Lilian, Liliana, or Lillian? He could call her Lily and you wouldn't have to.
