I'm delighted that Amy is dated, or at least dating fast. It has always seemed to lack personality and distinction.
It's also always seemed elderly to me, even when you could hardly put your foot down in a primary school or kiddies' playground without treading on at least one Amy. Elderly, plumpish and bland. Probably wearing navy-blue, with sensible shoes; Amy is a sales assistant in a clothing shop, and her husband is a car salesman. They keep lots of yappy little dogs.
