Aura - It's nice but not too fond of word names
Aurelia - This is the one I would choose, it has a beautiful elegance and softness about it
Aurea - Sounds like oreo?
Aurora - I've never liked this name, it sounds really strange when I say it and I don't know if it's my accent or because I roll my R's but it just doesn't flow well

I prefer Aurélie. There's a newsreader on a local radio station named Aurélie - I can never catch her ln, probably because it seems to come from Francophone Africa somewhere! And she's very good.Aura is too much of a word, and a rather silly word at that. All touchy-feely pseudo-spiritual.
Aurelia is a mouthful, and sounds pretentious to me.
Aurea? No. Like gilding refined gold or painting a lily.
Aurora is better than dreary Dawn, but too balletic.

Aura - I get a similar vibe from Rainbow or Crystal; it's just a new agey word name to me
Aurelia - by far my favorite of the group
Aurea - makes me think of ears, I guess because of the word 'aural'
Aurora - nice meaning but seems like a mouthful

I'd choose Aurea or Aurelia. Aura is insubstantial, and Aurora is far too popular.I love how rarefied Aurea is. Aureole also appeals to me.

Aura- I love the sound of Aura. Very pleasing to the ear, with a good deal of feistiness and character to her. I love Aura as a full name, and as a nn to -ora names (and the names below), including my top girls' name.Aurelia- I only like as Or-RAY-lee-uh. I also have this on my list, and I think Aurelia is a gorgeous name, but I'd personally avoid it because I dislike the other pronunciation options.Aurea- This I the only one I haven't thought about much and isn't on my list. I quite like the sound, but prefer Aura, nice it has more energy and personality in my opinion.Aurora- One of oldest names on my list, I used to want to name my second daughter this, sister to Pandora lol. I still really like the meaning, sound, and connection to the Aurora Borealis, it has some great imagery to go along with it.All four are great names, but my favourite is definitely the short, but feisty Aura.

I would choose Aurora.Aura - nice enough, seems too short/incomplete though, like it could be a nickname for the others
Aurelia - I want to like it, it has a nice meaning and looks pretty enough but I'm just not sure I'm pronouncing it correctly and it sounds a little strange!
Aurea - urea is too prominent, all I think of is the chemical compound and fertiliser reference!
Aurora - while it's R heavy, I still think it is beautiful and has a lovely meaning and references

I choose Aurelia. because it's not nearly common.Aura - is something some people can see around people. Not a name, to me.
Aurelia - uncommon & so lovely.
Aurea - reminds me of something nasty, but I can't think what right now. Sorry.
Aurora - I want to like Aurora. Honest, I do. But I've known an Aurora for years and she could not say her own name til she was 6! But the imagery is so pretty.
