In spite of the fact that I dislike the city Dallas, and despite the fact that I dislike what I consider to be "rugged cowboy" names in general, and Dallas qualifies, I like Dallas for a boy. I'd never use it because I dislike the city, but I like it. I think its use as the name for a character in "Gone With The Wind" pre-disposed me to like it.
