I find it a bit over-decorated, but OTOH it is the name of one of my closest friends, so I'm quite OK with it.
When my buddy was a preschooler, one of the assistants wasn't familiar with the name Desiree and did her best by calling her Daisy-Ray. I sometimes nn her Daisy to this day.
