[Opinions] Starlet
I recently saw this name the other day. What do you think of it? I have never heard it before

When I was ten, I named a doll Starra. It reminds me of that. Starlet is also used to refer to young Hollywood actresses in British tabloids.
Starlet would get confused with Scarlett A LOT.
I do think Starla or Star would make a fun middle name, but it would take a big personality to pull if off in the first name position.
Elizabeth Star
Maria Star
Julia Star
Marie Star
Rachel Star
Veronica Star

It is glaringly, extremely, obviously, and purely Low Rent.
Tacky, just as all the other Star- names.
It’s nns. Scarlet is a lot better, even though I’m not a fan of it either.
I think somebody can't write or pronounce Scarlet properly.
It's quite silly. The word "starlet" isn't wholly positive to me. It has a connotation of air-headedness. Maybe that's just me. Anyhoo, me no like.
I think of...ambition, naivety, shallowness, bright lights, parental expectations.
Full name: Starlet Contessa or Starlet Khaleesi
Siblings: Dancer "Dan", Talent & Twilight (twins), Marquise, Heaven.
Similar names that would be slightly better imo: Charisma, Scarlet, or Starla.

Tacky. Tacky. Tacky.
At least it’s better than Starlette which is a name I saw once.

I really dislike it. It's a word and just seems to be "trying too hard" to me.
Cringe. So much cringe.
Ick.
When I grew up, there was a girls' magazine called Starlet, with cheesy comics about girls falling in love. That's all I can think of when I hear the name Starlet.

I definitely don't like it. It gives me the image of someone who's like Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan.
