Hi !!!It is so hard to decide! If I read It in Italian they would be:
Ciara - CHA-ra
Kyra - KEE-raBut I dislike them because I know that they are incorrect.I dislike the form kee-AH-ra for Ciara because It is too similar to Chiara.
I also dislike the pr. kee-ra because Kira is better imo.So I would change the spelling: from Ciara to Kiera (KYE-ra with the same meaning/origin of course).I pronounce Kyra as KIE-ra because I take It as English feminine of Cyrus so..same sound.

In the US, the singer Ciara has pronounced it See-air-uh and therefore that’s the pronunciation that sticks here. If you wanted Key-are-uh you would probably need to spell it Kiara. Kyra is pronounced like Myra but with a K.

Ciara - there are so many ways people do pronounce this that I never how how to. My initial reaction is always key-ah-ruh or a quicker blended version like kya-ruh. But if I know they really like Irish names, keer-uh (I live in the United States, and my brain doesn't naturally immediately think of that combo as keer even though I know that's the "original" way to say it, wish it did). After those, my brain thinks oh wait but they might pronounce it see-air-uh/see-ah-ruh (which I dislike). Kyra - keer-uh, I never think kie-ruh

Ciara as KEE(uh)ruh, or possibly kee AH ruh. I'd ask before attempting it.
Kyra as kai-ruh but I'd ask about that too.

Ciara: Like Sierra, unless I knew the person was from Ireland. I've run across the "incorrect" pronunciation often enough that it wouldn't automatically seem incorrect to me.
Kyra: Keera.
Kira: Keera.

Ciara - KEE-rah
Kyra - Kee-rah if encountered in a Dutch speaking setting. KIE-rah if it's an English speaking setting.
