Asher. Love the meaning, the sound is good and I love the fact it's Biblical.

Adrian, I love it. I like Asher as well but not as much as I like Ashley or Ashton. Dislike Alvin.

Although I love both Adrian and Asher, Adrian seems more timeless so I'd go with that one.

Adrian. It’s handsome and classic.
Alvin is hideous.
Asher is okay, but not great.

Love Adrian. Dislike the other two. Adrian is a handsome, masculine name. I don't like the sound of Asher. Alvin just reminds me of a chipmunk.:)

To be honest, I don't like any of them. Adrian sounds sissy, Alvin is sort of comical but reminds me of the chipmunk, and Asher just sounds like a sneeze.
But I guess I'd go with Alvin, since it has that minimum bit of charm.

Too easy! Alvin is both too Little Lulu and too Chipmunk; plus I don't like the sound much - same goes for Edwin and Selwyn. And I have no great enthusiasm for ash as a substance: smells nasty and is a pain to clean up. Adrian, on the other hand ... one of my top favourite Roman emperors, one of my favourite walls, a good, solid, reliable name with a highly respectable pedigree! What's not to like? I'd use it tomorrow, given the opportunity.

Adrian. I've always liked it for a boy, and I like that it's used/recognizable in several countries and languages.Asher is too harsh, and Alvin is too chipmunk.

Adrian! I absolutely love this name! One of my absolute favorites. Very handsome!
Alvin is fine but rather dated and geeky and too reminiscent of 'Alvin and the chipmunks' (Unlike Theodore and Simon which have well more connections and associations)
Asher is nice but it doesn't hold a candle to Adrian.
