Any opinions on Zelah? I found it on a baby naming website, and found it cute. According to the info it's a Biblical place where Saul was buried. Would it appropriate as a girls name?

I don't much enjoy the thought of being named after a cemetery. And I don't much like the look or the sound of it, or the trendiness of the Z. Selah would be better, particularly since its meaning is unclear!

Zelah צלע is ok. Being a place name it goes well on a girl.

I prefer other names though.

I've always loved Zella so I can definitely see the appeal of Zelah. I think I prefer the Zella spelling, but that could also be because it's what I'm used to.
