Well, I really still like the names even if the meanings are different. By the way I checked the actual meanings and here they are:
Elaine does actually mean light, sometimes translated as shining light or sun ray.
Edana means a few different things depending on the translation, if you were translating from Celtic it means Passionate, from Irish it means Fire, and from Gaelic it means Fiery.
Grace from Latin means God's Grace sometimes taken as Graceful or Lovely.

Out of curiosity do you have any specific websites or books you use to research names?

I use this site. It's pretty much the only website that uses etymology and research to Define names. the majority of other name websites do not and make up meanings or have incorrect meanings.
