[Opinions] Re: Unusual British Birth Announcements
Zebedee, Clementine, and Florence sound like a sibset straight out of either a Dickens or Eliot novel... but Badger thrown in there is just too bizarre. Especially if it's his legal name.Ophelia Sylvianne is delightfully OTT but Fortune makes it sound New Age instead of Victorian Opera Singer.Wilfred Hector Valentine is also my kind of OTT, and I love Ottilia.Calista is gorgeous, but I can't stand Horatio, sorry. (Also... Hazard?)Elektra & Esmeralda would've kicked butt as sisters, but in the same combo...? I don't like the flow. I wouldn't pair Elektra with a middle that begins with a vowel, and same for Esmeralda. (Also, depending on your tastes, Dorothy either lucked out or drew the short straw in that sibset. I vote Short Straw.)Also, I tip my hat to parents who had the guts to use Loveday in real life.***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381
