[Opinions] Estelle or Stella?
Which do you prefer? What impression do you get from each?

Estelle
It feels crisp and clear. Stella has a much trendier sound, what with all the little Ellas and Bellas running around. I feel like it gets lost in the mix.

Estella nn Stella
My husband's great grandmother was named Estella but typically went by Stella. So you could have it both ways. Estelle nn Stella would work as well.

Estelle, hands down!
Stella sounds almost masculine (Stellan) and popular, where Estelle sounds sophisticated and feminine. More one of a kind rather than one of many.

Stella seems classic, elegant and accessible.
Estelle is dated, was pretentious, and I don't like the rhythm.

Estelle, definitely
Stella's too easily conflated with Ella, Bella, etc. Estelle is more elegant but also brassy.

Stella - I prefer it by a wide margin. really nice name, bright, reflective, active
Estelle is sticky and precious and unfun

I dislike both names. I like the meaning.
Stella is late 90s celebrity trendy and Estelle feels so old fashioned in a bad way.
I guess Estelle. It seems more elegant.

I like them both but I like Stella better. Both names feel dark and mysterious.
