It’s very pretty. The -anca ending is what really makes it lovely, somehow. I also like Blanche (both in English and French).

I like it. I love its Shakespearean connection. I think it sounds romantic and beautiful.

Bianca is certainly the best of its name family (though Blanche is pretty in French; I've never liked Blanca). It's elegant but also with a lot of oomph.Despite it being a traditional Italian name (aside from its Shakespearean history), I somehow grew up in a heavily Italian area without meeting a single Italian girl / woman named Bianca. This isn't to say I didn't meet any Biancas - I did - they were just universally Black / African-American (other than one "Vianca" who was Hispanic). It was common enough that in looking at Bianca on this site I'm surprised African-American isn't listed as a usage of the name. The above comments aren't meant to detract from the name, by any means. I just wanted to provide some context for present-day usage of the name in the United States.

The best thing I can find to say about it is that it's better than Blanche.

I really like it. It used to be a favorite of mine but I kind of fell off it for a while, but I've been coming back around to it lately. I think it's pretty and distinctive without being too "out there."

This is my sister's name. I actually really like it, I think it's unusual without being weird (I've known about 5 Biancas) and has good nickname potential.

I kind of like it. It sounds historical to me, because of the Shakespeare reference and because I've never met one IRL.

I don’t like it, mostly because it was the name of a nasty girl at my high school.

It's okay but I don't really love it. It feels a tiny bit 80s/90s. I used to like Blanche and Blanca but not so much anymore.
