I love it, but I have a very specific image for Ivy on a person (light skin, long black hair, tall and thin). Iris and Holly are similar names that have a more flexible description for me.
One of the things I like about Ivy is that I don't automatically think of a color besides green, and I sometimes just like the 'green foliage' thing more than colorful flowers. I also think of ivy growing on old, mysterious buildings which gives it what I suppose is a dark academia feel.
