[Opinions] Re: Donna
in reply to a message by )(
I taught a boy whose younger sister (too young for high school) was Donné, pronounced Donnay. South Africans have historically been bad at French, though it is increasingly being taught in schools as a third language, so this may well change. Whatever! Donné is enough to make anyone prefer Donna, in spite of doner kebabs and the sixteen-year-old virgin in Hair! But it's a silly name, somehow manages to be both pretentious and down-market.
