Barney. I wouldn't be surprised to hear it, and I don't dislike plant names, but I don't like the sound much, and it doesn't register to me as meaningful particularly. I wonder if it matters to me that it's not mythical or very highly valued (it's like...grain, horse food, grass, corn, wheat, oats, doesn't have the pizzazz of flowers or spices, but crunchy and wholesome, I guess).
