Okay, I'm fairly sure that post people pron. this name LAY-na, but I pronounce it LEAN-ah, which I find very pretty. Is this too a valid pronunciation?~ Arcadia

The correct pron. for Lena and Lina is LEE-nah!! I know two people by the Lena and they both pron their names LEE-nah.

I say LEE-nah. Which is pretty much the same as the way you say it. I can't see how it could be LAY-na, but never mind!!

If I see Lena by itself I pronounce it LEAN-ah. However if it is at the end of a name like Elena, Marlena or Helena, I pronounce it like LAY-na.

Yep. I would pronounce it Lee-nah. I think that's the more popular pronunciation. Regards, Rosomaqa
