[Opinions] Constance
I love the name Connie for a girl, but I also really love the way Constance sounds (in full form, without a nickname). Connie is nice as a stand-alone in my opinion, but if I were to choose a full name, I’d go for Constance. Constance is easily one of my favorite names, because it’s classy, uncommon, and I think it sounds cute yet mature. How do you feel about Constance as a name?

i simply love constance! connie's alright as a nickname (definitely better than coco), but not as a stand-alone.

Constance is a very, very old favorite of mine, entirely due to The Three Musketeers. I would actually more likely use it as a pseudonym / pen name than for a daughter.Connie is a good nickname, but I don't like it as a standalone name.

I like Connie better.

I agree that Constance and Connie are great, although I dont think Connie is a stand alone. As so-called virtue names go, it's second only to Verity, imo.

I don't like Constance, Connie is ok as a nn, perhaps Contessa, Jaconda, Yaconda

I'm in the same boat as Wordsmith. I love Constance, not so keen on Connie. I remember going through a phase where I thought "Stan" would be a great nickname for a Constance. It has great 1930s "Hawksian woman" energy, and that's fun. Connie could be cute in an ironic throwback sort of way, maybe? To me it's not very interesting, it's on the level of Debbie and Lori which, for me, are not vintage enough to be admired yet. But maybe for the younger generation Connie could be snappy and cozy. I could see that.

Yes, Stan is so Hawksian!

I love Constance but don’t care for Connie. Stannie or Tancy would be charming.
