Wdyt of Grier for both f and m. What kind of person would Grier be? I like it, it seems modern

I dislike it. It has such a harsh sound.

I've seen Grier as a man's name and Greer as a woman's name. Not a favorite, but usable. I see it as quite retro.

I've just Googled Greer Garson: she was a popular singer/actress during WWII. Her given names were Eileen Evelyn, and as a third, her mother's birth surname, Greer. The reason it 'seems modern' is presumably because it is a ln used as a fn. I don't like the look, the sound or the origin.

I used to think it was ugly but I'm thinking about it more often and I like it. It's not feminine at all, but it would suit a strong-willed sorceress. I like it a lot on boys, mainly as a MN.

Awful.

I find it very harsh and empty. It would be better on a boy.
