If my eldest brother had been a girl he'd have been Kristin and he was nearly Karl. My cousin born less than a year later is Karl, so that was off the table for kid 2. My mom also decided she didn't want to do more than 4 letters given the length of our surname the girl choice became Anna.
If I was a boy I'd have been Drew. The only alternate girl choice for me was Emma. They had toyed with lifting the letter limit and calling me Grace, but opted out.
