[Opinions] Re: Names of Crusaders, A-E

Fascinating - thank you for sharing! Such fun to find 21st-century names like Alan, Alexander, Andrew, among so much exotica. For the record, I taught a real, live Adalbert in the last millennium: he is now a medical specialist.
My favourites of this list are Bellacosa (so appropriately bellicose), Bellay (Avast!), Bencelin (like an antibiotic), and Bonfilius (such proud parents). Clarembald is astonishing, like an order to a barber. Erkenbald and Ermengald must surely have been cousins, if not brothers.
