Whoever is selected at the conclave will choose. Oftentimes the choice is deliberate based upon the new pope's theological inclinations - Pope Francis deliberately selected Francis after St. Francis of Assisi; Pope Benedict chose his name after Pope Benedict XV (the pope during WWI); etc.
I don't think there's a way to guess beyond that?
