[Opinions] Estelle?
I've noticed the name is popular on this website. It wins many polls and contest. Can you explain your views on it?

I like it a lot! I like starry names Celeste, Stella, Celestine, Astor, Celestia, Estella, Astraea, and Star.

I dislike it.
I put it with Stella, which was popular a few years back. (I don't like either one)
I can think only of The Golden Girls, which was never a favorite.
Naming a daughter Estelle would be like making her an 80-year-old woman on day one (to me, at least!)

Estelle is beautiful.
I absolutely adore it, it's elegant and accessible. Estelle makes me think of a dark blue sky with glittering stars and a green hill. I love Stella too.
Timeless and cute! It sounds pretty and glamarous.
I knew a very sweet girl named Estella. I actually like that variation better.
I don't dislike it, but I'm not a fan. It sounds incomplete to me - and dated. I don't love Stella, but I do prefer it to Estelle, and probably prefer Estella to both of them, though it's almost a little too frilly.I don't know why folks have a particular proclivity for it here.

I think it's stunning and elegant!
I prefer Stella. Or if I had to choose a closer version, Estella. Estelle seems dated to me.
It’s pretty, and feels sophisticated.
I love Estelle Harris. As a name, Estelle is not my favorite. I prefer Stella to say but that's not a favorite either.
Who is Estelle Harrus? Sorry I'm not big in pop culture.
An old actress in some movies I liked in the 90s.
I like it but I prefer Stella.
I was going to name my daughter Estelle, but seeing the popularity of the name on here made me change it. I think it's a beautiful name with a gorgeous meaning. As for why it might be popular, only speculating, but I think it's the new Isabelle. And "E" names seem to be popular now.
I find it elegant and classy in an old fashioned way; I've liked it for a long time. It's newly popular I think - I remember the days not so long ago when people weren't keen on it, and preferred Stella and Estella. Maybe they find Estelle more refreshing now.
I like Estela. I prefer Astrela.
My view is that it is best left to the French. I like Stella very much, but not either Estelle or Estella.
