Help[Facts] Brittany's popularity nosedive on the English charts
I noticed on the England and Wales popularity chart, Brittany fell by nearly 600 places between 2000 and 2001, which is a massive drop in popularity in just one year. Is there a reason for this?

I could never understand why people who are often referred to as Britons and who live in Great Britain, which is opposite a part of France called Brittany would use Brittany as a human name in the first place. No idea why it is fading from use, but I'd be glad to see it disappear.

Probably to do with sonething Britney Spears did? Celebrity names tend to rise and fall pretty quickly depending on controversies.

I think this would make a lot of sense! I think part of it is also its association as a “millennial” name
