There's a children's book series called Girl Stuff by Lisi Harrison (of The Clique fame). In it, the mother of one the main character's named each of her daughter after an icon of second-wave feminism, and one of them is Fonda.
I think it's an absurd name.
I do like Jane Fonda.
And now that you're referring to a church directory from the '90s as old, I feel ancient.
