[Opinions] Melora
Has anyone ever heard of the girl's name Melora? I heard it for the first time a few months ago, and it is really starting to grow on me.

It sounds pretty.
There's an actress named Melora Hardin (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002124/ - she's currently on "The Office"), but that's the only time I've heard the name. Seems made-up, though I'm not sure. It's not horrible, though.
ETA: Apparently there's also an actress named Melora Walters, and in the trivia section of her imdb.com page (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001828/bio), it says the name Melora is Yoruban for "fellowship". Not sure how accurate that is but...ok.

I've heard it before but I'm not crazy about it.

I believe it's the name of the singer of Rasputina..
It's a variant of Meliora, which I prefer - Melora sort of sounds like a sickness to me.

At first glance I thought it was melanoma! Eeek!
But when I looked at it again it again it reminded me of Melony. Not a favorite of mine, but Melora isn't too bad. =]

One of my friend's mn is Mylura. (pronounced Ma-lure-uh)Similar, but not the same. This is the first time I've heard anything close to her name. I like Melora better, I think.
It's a favorite on the board.
I love it quite a bit, and would use if I could ever figure out its' meaning.
