I love the name Domenica! It's gorgeous. I especially like it with the nickname Dinnie, after a character in Sharon Creech's Bloomability. She's a really spunky, lovable character, and it made me love the name! Not that it wasn't already gorgeous...

As for Dominique, I can only see it on one really jerky, bratty girl that I know. It totally ruins the name. But, I don't think I like the sound of it, on either gender. I do like Monique... So maybe it's just the association that's getting me!
