[Opinions] It's spelt Rawdon in the book
And also the film. So not the same name as Rórdán. Rawdon (as a surname) would probably have come from the place near Leeds, though I'm not sure where William Makepeace Thackeray got it from. However Rórdán is a nice name, and the nn Rórdy is cute. And it means you can use it without being reminded of the character, if you didn't like him :)
