Cathy, especially when spelled with a C, reminds me of Wuthering Heights, and Catherine (Cathy) Earnshaw. Soooooooo romantic. Love it.
I like Kate, etc. But at this point Cathy would be a breath of fresh air.
My favorite forms of C/Katherine are Cathleen, and Catriona.
