Hieu in Vietnamese means: "obedience and loyalty to one's parents and ancestors".-- Nanaea

Hmmm -- is it too late to change my 22 year old's name to Hieu? Would it make any difference?

Here's what Hieu need to do...Instead of changing your 22-year-old's name to teach him a little respect, try changing your philosophy -- to Satanism! I think you need to shake him out of his complacency, by informing him that Dad has suddenly decided to become a Satanist and that from now on Dad will be strictly adhering to The Nine Satanic Statements -- particularly #4: "Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it, instead of love wasted on ingrates" and #6: "Satan represents responsiblility to the responsible, instead of concern for psychic vampires".Of course, your kid probably isn't all that bad, but eh! It'd be kinda amusing anyway to tell him the Old Man has suddenly decided to turn Satanist. :)-- Dr. Moloch
