[Opinions] Re: Charlotte.
Charlotte happens to be my name (as well as the name of two of my friends). I really like my name and consider it to be very versatile. Although I always go by Charlotte, I could also go by Charlie or Lottie, both of which fit in with the trend of "ie" names.I live in the United Kingdom where Charlotte has ranked highly in popularity lists for some time now. For example, it was the 9th most popular name in the UK for baby girls born in 2003, just behind Emily, Ellie, Chloe, Jessica, Sophie, Megan, Lucy and Olivia. (http://www.statistics.gov.uk/specials/babiesnames_girls.asp)With those names listed becoming more and more popular in the United States, I imagine Charlotte might just follow suit. If you name your daughter Charlotte now, you will be ahead of the game!
