I don't mind it but I love other -ora names much more, esp. Nora. It also makes me think of Thorazine (a drug used for schizophrenia) and also thighs, for some odd reason. :b

It's grown on me hugely lately, I'm starting to really love it. I think it's prettier than Cora, Dora, Nora, etc, and certainly less common.I also love Thor, for a boy.

I go through phases, sometimes I like it and want to use it, and other times I just kind of shrug it off. I have thought about it as a nn for Theodora, which is kind of nice in my opinion.

Lovely. It's simple but unusual and has history.

Beautiful!Nice and simple but different. I like it! The only thing though is that it rhymes with a bunch of other names, which makes it a little less unique, you know? But it's still good. :D

I think it's great, but prefer Thor (on a boy, of course, lol). Thora just seems like another chip off the -ora trend...which, depending on your accent can include Cora, Dora, Flora, Jora, Laura, Maura, Aurora, Nora, ad nauseum.
