I've only heard Teagan prn. as TEE-gan (I've met one of each gender). But that's odd because Reagan is usually prn. RAY-gan, so I guess say Teagan like it rhymes with Reagan isn't strange at all, I've just never personally heard it.

ditto, as infitting in with the overwhelming long A trend in modern naming.

I've always said "TAG-un", "ag" as in magazine. But I don't know.

I say TEE-gan...but I'm more accustomed to seeing Tegan, and on little girls. I can see how people get TAY-gan out of Teagan. Like Ronald RAY-gan.

TEE-ganis the way we pronounce it. it's my sisters name. A GIRL!!!! i find it very odd that people use it on a boy.
my friend Kim has a sister with the same name but spelt Teaghan too.

I do not like this name, no matter how it is pronounced. It looks trendy.

I pronounce it Tee-gan, and I've only known it on girls. I know a 19 year old named Tegan, and and a five year old Teagan.
I don't like the name. I don't like names generally with the suffix -gan. ie Megan, Meghan, Regan, Logan etc. They sound awful to my ear.
