Elise/Elyse?
Which do you prefer and why?I feel like I'm more inclined to like Elise since the use of "y" has become synonymous with trendy.

I actually like Elyse better. That's mainly because I love the name Elysia. But both spellings are excellent and I don't feel there's a typical spelling.

ElyseI hate Elise for some reason. Elyse looks much better and fresher.

I went to school with a girl named Elysse, nd I used to love the way she spelt her name. Now I prefer Elise, I'm not sure why. I'm not sure if I feel the same was as you, nd any name + y = trendy, or if it's just a visual thing.

My middle name is Elyse but I prefer Elise because it's more classic looking.

I much prefer, Elise. I agree with that the "y", makes it look trendy.

For Elise, I think the i is better... Some names I like with a y, but somehow with Elise, the i seems more natural... I actually know one who spells her name Elece.

I prefer the spelling Elyse. This is the only name I like with a Y instead of an I because that's what I saw first. Elise spelled like that also sort of looks like Elsie to me and I hate that name.

Elise. The y in Elyse just doesn't look right to me.
