Jovan or Milan
What do you think of Jovan (pronounced Yovahn) and Milan (Milahn)? But not as a sibset.Would you be more inclined to say Govan instead of Yovahn? Does Milan remind you too much of the city? Impressions? Which do you like better? THANKS.

Milan is a long time favorite of mine. :)
Jovan is nice...I'm more inclined to say yo-VAHN instead of JO-vin.

Jovan. Milan does remind me of the city, but it's not a deal breaker. I just prefer Jovan.

I would say Jovan jo-VAHN, like Giovanni without the last syllable. Because I really like different version of John, I like Jovan, even if it does sound like a weird spelling and truncation of Giovanni to me.Milan really is too much like the city. Even though it has its own derivation, people will assume that it's the city and, for the most part, I don't like place names that didn't come from people names.

Milan, hands down. at first glance, i wasn't sure how to pronounce Jovan and i think most people would get confused. i just personally like Milan better all-around.
