WDYTO Caoimhe? Does it remind you of anything? I think I love it.

I think it's pretty when it's pronounced KEE-va. KWEE-va is NMS. It reminds me of the word "queasy."

It's not my favourite Irish name. I hear it a fair bit on these boards, but I think it's a bit overrated.

I don't like it. I think it has an ugly sound. It looks nice though.

Caoimhe (obviously) looks Irish. But the "KEE-vuh" sound always makes me think of the East or Middle East. It sounds like a name from a country with a jungle, if that makes sense. I suppose I'm getting it mixed up with Shiva in my head.Oh, wait. I know what it makes me think of: snakes. ;-)

It doesn't remind me of anything. I really like it; I'm very partial to non-anglicized Irish names. It's always funny hearing people trying to pronounce them, if you haven't introduced yourself first. I had a classmate named Siobhan, and during roll call we had fun screaming the proper sound at substitute teachers.

For me I can't really tell how it's pronounced unless I check its page one the site. Even though it's KWEE-va, it looks like Kah-oh-me.
It's nice, not my favourite, I love the spelling, though.
