Where I live it's a boy's name which is quite dated to the 80s and 90s IMO. I know 3 male Ashleys aged 18-19.
I'm not really a fan of it on either gender but I'd prefer to see it on a boy. I don't like Ashley for a girl at all; Aisling would be so much nicer :)
