Carolyn has always looked tacky to me. I much prefer Caroline.

Carolyn is okay, however, it seems like the 40's or 50's version of the timeless Caroline.

I like it, it's much nicer than Caroline. It just looks more fashionable and sophisticated to me.

It's my great-aunt's name. I think it's nice, but I prefer Caroline.

I like Carolyn better than Caroline. What drives me crazy is how some people think the two names are pronounced the same. If you like Carolyn, use Carolyn, don't spell it Caroline.

I don't like it, but I do like Coraline, although I'm pretty sure it's just made up from the movie. I used to know a Carolyn. Her middle name was Margaret.

I prefer Caroline, but I don't like the nickname Carol.

I grew up with a few Carolyns, so for me it's like the name Jessica or Jenn - not unpleasant, but a little "meh".
