Eos
I've come across the name Eos today, and I think I like it. It's pronounced AY-ohs. I love names that have lots of vowel sounds in them, like Oenone and Iona. What do you think of it? Is it usable in real life, or just for a character in a story?

I like Eos...the goddess of dawn...I think I have a chicken named Eos, but I'm not sure...I have a lot of chickens. :)

I really like Eos, graphically and phonically, but I don't think I would like to see it on a child. It would be delightful for a pet or a character.

Hmm, I like it. I think it's usable in real like as a mn, but maybe not as a fn. At least to me, it doesn't sound very feminine, and I wouldn't be able to think of any nn's for it (Ossie?). It would be a really good fn for a character, though.
