I absolutely love this name! I'd really like to use this one on someone or something someday.

I don't like it at all. It's one of my least favorite names. I hate the sound of it.

I just love it, but fear it will become too commonplace soon.

Simply can't see the appeal. Brings to mind the blonde wife from a range of bad 1980s English sit-coms.

I love it. Gorgeous, pretty, etc. Great name.

I adore it and would definitely use it for a girl. It's normal, yet unique. I have loved it ever since my Scooby Doo days, 35 years ago.

Although I appreciate the name's classical significance, I've never admired the sound.

I don't like it. I find it silly. It brings to mind a scatter-brained airhead. I probably have this mental image because Daphne sounds similar to the word "daffy." Nevertheless, that's the image that it has for me.

Same.I'd still probably prefer it to most of the popular nonsense, but it's not for me.

Reminds me of a similar greek name, PhoebeYou know, I never noticed the Daphne sounds like "Daffy" connection, but I had a hard time getting on board with Phoebe for a long time because it sounds like "feeble" to me. I've sort of grown to appreciate Phoebe now because I love the way it looks, but just can't come around to loving the sound.
