I know there's a certain sexy or lower-class connotation with Desiree but I went to high school with one. She was the mayor's dd, very pretty, very smart. The name worked for her. The sound of Desiree is very attractive to me. I probably wouldn't go there but I wouldn't think negatively if I met a young Desiree.

I think it's kind of pretty but I would never use it

makes me think of a sleezy novel... sorry. It just does.

I find it a bit trashy, and the one Desirée I knew was a b.... and a compulsive liar, so no great associations here.

I don't like the sound at all, it sounds a little trashy, and it's also a variety of potatoes, which is my first association.
Not a fan.

I dislike it. I think it sounds tacky, and even though it's a real French name, it sounds faux-French to me, if that makes sense. It also evokes the image of either someone very bratty or very trashy, or both.

It's nice enough. I wouldn't use it but would like to see it on someone else's kid
