Moon
OK, so WDYT? It's for a character, I would never dream of using on a real person. I'd love opinions, combos, etc.The story behind the name (in the story) is that her mother, Diana, wanted to give her a name that is tied to hers (the Roman goddess Diana was goddess of the moon) and the character is inexplicably tied to the moon. Her mother has a *unique* taste in names. Thanks!

I have a fondness for Moon-Unit, Frank Zappa's daughter's name, but Moon by itself reminds me of, well, being mooned. Not a pleasant image. I think Luna would be better for the daughter's name.

A Roman Goddess middle name?
Moon Demeter
Moon Aurora
Moon Laverna
Moon Lavinia
Moon Lucina
Moon Minerva
Moon Pomona
Moon Silvia Or something relating to her fathers side which I wouldn't know.

Moon is one of a small number of hippie names I like.

I'm sorry for any confusion. What I meant was the name (or really word) "Moon," not names meaning moon. Unusual, I know.

Luna, Selene/a, Aylin, are names w/ all moon meanings... if that's what you meant, or Acantha, Elisavet, Hippolyta, Proserpina if you wanted names like 'that'... I'm a bit confused as to what you wantwd :/

It seems to fit the story well. I'd say go for it.
