It's a good traditional biblical name and I can't fault it. I think it sounds a bit harsh though, and I only like it on certain people.

I may be biased......but I love the name. People can tell me it's boring or unimaginative, but I've always loved my name. I think it's pretty.

I know some pretty cool people named Rachel, so I like it because if that, but it it too boring to use IMO.

I find it sort of boring, and I had to grow up with it.
I do like seeing it as a MN though, especially to something a little more off the wall.

AgreedIt's not very interesting a name in my opinion, and while classic, its popularity has taken away much of its old-world charm. Raquel and Rahel are more interesting versions.
