Fiera
Someone mentioned this name on here recently. I like it, I love Fiona but it's becoming kind of popular here, Fiera is similar with a twist.

I may have been the one that mentioned it. It was the name of a twin, and I think it is a beautiful name. I do believe it has a totally different vibe than Fiona though. Fiona is more classic and reserved and Fiera is more spunky and exotic.

I kind of like it, but it might be confused with Sierra.

The Pontiac Fiero (80s sportscar) comes to mind instantly for me. I like the sound of it, but I wouldn't want to be named it.

It reminds me too much of fire. I realize it probably isn't said with a long "i" as in fire. That's more of a visual thing. But it takes over and I can't stop thinking of fire.I do love the name Piera though, "PYEHR-uh," like Pierre with an "-uh" on the end.

I like Fiera. It makes me think of fire. But I can't get passed what it means in some other languages ("ugly old woman" lol). I still prefer Fiona.

Reminds me of Fiore.
Interesting name.

It means "proud" in my native language and I have trouble getting past that, but I guess where you are that wouldn't be an issue. Then I suppose yes, it could be an interesting twist on Fiona.

I reminds me of fear and fiery. I do know someone named Fira. She is Indonesian. I prefer that form.

It is kind of cool. It's like the feminine form of Fiyero. Not really, of course, but that's what it makes me think of. :)
