One of the little sisters in the What Katy Did stories was Clover, I think. It's rather sweet: one of the better plant names.

I absolutely love this name. Its high on my list of GPs :) I'd prob use it as a middle name rather than a first name though

I like itI discovered this name thanks to Totally Spies. She was my favourite one.

ME TOO! I always thought she had a weird name because the others had more common names, I think. Alex and Sam? I forget.

I've always quite liked it, ever since I first came across it in 'What Katy Did' (her sister's name was Clover). It's a cute little name. Sadly, here it is also a popular brand of margarine.

Gosh - it's a huge dairying company here in South Africa! Milk, cheese, yogurt (no marge though). Clearly the bovine associations are strong ...

Sounds like a good name for a pet bunny.

It's not my style either.

Sorry, I find Clover to be very bovine-esque along with Bessie and Elsie (which is weird because I love Bess and Elsa / Elise).

Ok, but I actually prefer Clove.

I like it and would use it. It's cute in a 50's-revival hipster kind of way. Clover Jane or Clover Joan strike me as pretty darn awesome.
